Group Classes
Where do we hold our classes?
We run our classes at the Community Training Centre.
The address is:
700 E Mountain Rd, Guilford, VT 05301
Please exercise caution on the narrow, winding dirt road to the facility.
Stay alert while navigating to safely reach your class!
Due to the nature of the road, during winter months or heavy rain there is a high chance for cancellation or rescheduling of classes at the facility.
We will inform you as soon as we know if the road is safe for travel.
A Note On Pricing:
I set my prices in order to allow me to provide quality care to small groups.
The majority of my classes are limited to 4 working teams.
I am passionate about emphasizing quality over quantity for the owners who sign up for my classes.
This pricing also ensures that if you are the only one signed up for the class I can still run it for you and your dog.
Control Unleashed Foundations
This session will be held on the following dates:
6/1 (Zoom), 6/8, 6/22, 6/29, 7/6, 7/13

Do you have a dog that has big feelings about things?
Maybe they bark and lunge when they see other dogs, or get nervous when they see people.
Maybe they are too excited when they see either and are just VERY excited to say hi!
This is the class for you. This class is built around the Control Unleashed program that builds up focus, confidence and connection between owner and dog to reduce the stress for our dogs.
This class will run for 6 weeks.
Class is limited to 4 teams to make sure there is enough space and attention to go around.
Investment is $250
C.U. Pt 2!
This session will be held on the following dates:
6/1, 6/8, 6/22, 6/29
Sundays
11:15AM - 12:15PM
CU PT.2 – This class is a continuation of the Control Unleashed foundations course. In this class we will be working more on practicing the pattern games and working on not only the dogs ability to work around other dogs, but on the humans working on their physical mechanics and choices. We will be working inside and outside weather depending.
Prerequisites: Completed Control Unleashed foundations either online or in person with Finn. If you have taken a similar class with another instructor reach out the Finn to see if this class would be a good fit!
This session will run for 4 weeks.
Class is limited to 4 teams to make sure there is enough space and attention to go around.
Investment is $200
Agility Foundations
This class will run on the following dates:
6/1, 6/8, 6/22, 6/29, 7/6

Looking to do something fun with your dog?
Have you heard about agility and other dog sports but not sure if you or your dog would enjoy it?
Then this is the class for you!
In this class we learn the skills needed to not only run the courses but to be successful on the side of the ring and build confidence.
Agility is a fun and exciting sport that not only works our dogs brains, but also their bodies as they learn how to maneuver around obstacles!
This is a 5 week long session
Class is limited to 4 teams to make sure there is enough space and attention for all students
Investment is $250
Basic Foundations
This class will be held on the following dates:
6/1 (Zoom), 6/8, 6/22, 6/29, 7/6, 7/13

2:15PM - 3:15PM
This class is the first stop on your training journey with your dog!
Whether it’s a new puppy or a new to you dog, the skills learned in this class will help build better behavior and connection while also having fun.
We learn safety skills such as recall, leave it and stay as well as other skills like loose leash walking, door manners and more!
This class is good for dogs of any age.
*Note we do not offer “play time” in our foundations class. There are a few reasons behind this decision but be aware before your sign up that that is not something we do.

Public Skills - Level Two
This class will be held on the following dates:
6/1, 6/8, 6/22, 6/29
3:30PM - 4:30PM
Level Two – This class is where we take our skills to the great outdoors! We weave in the distractions of the outside world while still being in a controlled environment. We will utilizes the large parking lot at the facility to replicate different public spaces like cafes, farmers markets, parks etc.
Prerequisites: Must have taken an obedience or Clever Canine class with Finn before. If you have taken a similar course at another facility please reach out and we can discuss if this class is a good fit!
This is a 4 week long session
